Double eyelid surgery is generally performed under local anesthesia, and sedation is used when necessary. Double eyelid surgery includes a method that makes an incision in the skin (incision method) and a method that does not make an incision (burial method). The incision method involves making an incision in the eyelid skin, removing some muscle and skin, and creating a double eyelid line.
